The Illustration module focused on translating ideas into clear, engaging visual narratives. Assignments explored mood,
metaphor, and storytelling within single frames as well as sequential formats. Through experimentation with composition,
color palettes, texture, and lighting in digital mediums, the process strengthened the ability to balance creativity with
clarity.
Further on, this was also an introduction for me into digital softwares when it came to drawing and making artworks.

Character designs
Character designs
This part of the module focused on building characters with personality, narrative depth, and visual consistency. The objective
was to move beyond decorative drawing and develop characters that feel intentional shaped by traits, context, and story.
The process involved studying form simplification, exaggeration, proportion, and expression to translate personality into visual
language. Through iterative sketching, refinement, and digital rendering, characters were developed with attention to posture,
gesture, costume, and mood.

Illustration book
Illustration book
This project involved conceptualizing and designing a fully illustrated book based on The Tale of the Three Brothers from The Tales of
Beedle the Bard by J. K. Rowling. The objective was to reinterpret an existing literary narrative through a cohesive visual language while
maintaining the emotional depth and moral undertones of the original text.
In addition to illustration, the project included complete publication design: cover layout, typography pairing, character introduction pages,
sequencing, and print-ready formatting. The final outcome was a cohesive illustrated book that integrates narrative storytelling, character
design, typographic structure, and editorial layout into a unified visual experience.
